MINNESOTA IN THE WINTER!!!!!

A fun date night in Rice park, St Paul! THIS is what is great about Minnesota winter! It was JUST above zero on this evening, but Rice is so pretty this time of year! So dinner out and walk in Rice is a PERFECT night! Thought you foreigners (not from these parts) should get to see some pretty Winter pics! :)

LEXI'S LEAGUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We had a great turn out for the JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation) WALK on January 19th! I am late posting this, as I had to wait and depend on some others to get me the pix! :) I am not good at that, not very patient! :)

We had a great team - This was of course the first year to participate - and Lexi's League was over 60 with family and friends coming out to support her and the wonderful cause - that is making GREAT STRIDES I must add! She had the #2 biggest team and was someplace in the top 20 for total fund raising!! (Thanks to all who got in on that!!) Most of all, it was just so cool to see not only our team coming out to support our girl, but the 18,000 that were there as family if friends and with so many kids who deal with this thing every day! It was quite a site!

So, here are some great group pix that we all took! Congresswoman Bachman and her husband came out to walk with us too! That was so fun for Lex as she has gotten to know Michelle well over the last year and a half! SO - again, THANK YOU!!!!!! everyone who supported us and who got up at the CRACK of DAWN on a CHILLY January Day to WALK THE MALL for a wonderful girl, a wonderful cause :)

Delayed Walter Christmas!

We had a delay in our celebration and then I had laptop issues, so I am just now getting to post some favorites from our Christmas Celebration with the Walter Clan!!!!!!! :)

Christmas in the SUNSHINE!

We got to go down to Florida for Christmas too! We flew out Christmas day (afternoon) and got back Saturday the 29th. We had a great time with Mark's family - mom, dad and sister, Mandy.

We saw lots of friends - some new, some it had been years! We got to the beach and even got a little sun! A really fun trip - thanks Hess' for having us there! We went on a boat cruise one afternoon - never a bad day on the water....and just had an all around fun and busy time there! :)
